翌日ネット専門部署の警察に相談したり、慌ててウイルス除去対策を講じたりしました。警察から返信だけはしないようにと言われたので、まず様子をみようと思いました。すると24時間前、19時間目にまったく同じ英文のメールが届きました。出だしも内容もまったく同じ、金額が6000ドルになっていました。こちらが見ていないものと思い、再送したのでしょう。

相手もしびれを切らしたのだと思います。約束の24時間を待てずに同じ文面を送りつける。金が入ればラッキー！くらいの詐欺なんでしょう。
決定的だったのは、自分のPCのモニターにはカメラが付いていませんでした。後から気づきました。私のPCに侵入できたとしても、破廉恥写真など撮れるわけがなく、写真をばら撒くというのは脅し文句でした。
